I began  teaching in Brownfield in 1994 after taking a break from teaching for 11 years to raise my children.  I returned to teaching working with the Infant program (ECI) for seven years before returning to the classroom  I taught kindergarten for 13 years at Colonial Heights.  I have been at Oak Grove for six years teaching writing and reading and writing this past year.

Taught beginning piano for several years. 

I have been married since 1982  to Peter Anderson.  We have three children- Nathan who is married to Christy.  They have two chldren, Jace and Julien.  Nathan works for Lubbock Christian University.  Christy is a teacher in New Deal.  Hannah is a graphic designer and works for Montana Silversmiths in Montana.   Sarah is married to Chris Jarvis.  She is a theater teacher in Wichita Falls and Chris is a choir director there also.  They have one son, Liam.  

I have no pets.

I like to quilt and enjoy handquilting especially.  I also enjoy sewing and handcrafts like cross stitching.  I love to read and also enjoy watching Netflix.  I am also involved with leadership programs for youth at our church.
