This is my third year at Oak Grove Elementary.
I am currently teaching 4th Grade Math and loving every minute of it.
Before Moving to Lubbock, Texas , I worked 9 yrs. for Sharyland ISD in Mission, Texas. I worked in the Reading Lab helping 3rd -6th grade students who had difficulty in reading. I also taught in the Dyslexia program.
Prior to working at Sharyland ISD, I worked in San Antonio, 6 yrs. for a public charter school named Shekinah Radiance Academy. I taught 3rd -5th grade all subjects.
Prior to Shekinah Radiance Academy, I worked at vaious private schools for a total of 15 yrs.
I am a single person, with one little “fur” baby, named Schnoodel. She is part Shitz Szu and Schnauzer. I live with older sister and her “fur” baby Sadie. Her dog is part Chiahuahua and Terrier. I consider all of my students part of my family and love each one dearly.
I love to read and spend time with my family. Since my mom and dad have passed, family time is very important to me.
My hobby is doing arts and crafts. (I am not that good at it, but still like doing it)
I also collect Eeyore ( the sad donkey for Winnie the Pooh) and ceramic gingerbread men.
My favorite colors are purple and lime green.
